For just €3.36 (excluding VAT) , the SUPP.VOLT. is the plastic support that holds the gearmotor in the correct position inside the Smart. Without an intact and well-positioned support, the gearmotor vibrates, becomes misaligned, and the movement becomes irregular, compromising the delicate turning of the eggs.

⚙️ This mount holds the gear motor at the correct height and angle to transmit power to the egg turning grid. It's specifically designed to absorb vibrations from the motor during continuous operation, preventing premature wear and annoying noises.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If it's cracked or broken, if the gearmotor moves or vibrates excessively, if the plastic is warped from heat or age, if the fastening points are damaged, or if it's missing after maintenance.

💡 A damaged support causes: gearmotor-grid misalignment, premature wear of the coupling, irregular egg movement, abnormal noises during operation.

CIP Fan Protective Net CIP 28 / CIP CIP 40 – The safety barrier that protects the ventilation system. This metal mesh prevents debris, feathers, and shell fragments from entering the fan, maintaining air circulation and preventing noise or blockages during incubation. It also prevents the operator from inadvertently coming into contact with the fan.

A breeder in Treviso contacted me about a strange noise from his CIP 28 incubator: "It sounds like something is scratching the fan blades." Upon opening the incubator, we found the protective mesh was deformed and touching the fan with each rotation. After replacing the mesh, the problem went away, and incubation continued without a hitch.

When is it needed? If you notice rubbing noises, the mesh probably needs replacing. Even after aggressive cleaning with corrosive products , or if the mesh appears visibly rusted, deformed, or has loosened meshes, it's time to replace it.

⚠️ ATTENTION WHEN ORDERING: There are two versions – always specify whether you need it for CIP CIP 28 or CIP CIP 40 when ordering. The dimensions are different and are not interchangeable.

The COSMO base mesh is the perforated surface on which the eggs rest. It allows warm air and humidity to rise from the trays below, ensuring even distribution throughout the incubation chamber.

Quick diagnosis: rusty netting, broken or loosened meshes, bent or deformed netting, eggs that do not sit securely.

Solution: Original FIEM expanded mesh base for COSMO, COSMO EVO and COSMO ML incubators.

📌 Real case: A customer in Rovigo with a COSMO EVO had a rusty base net after 7 years. The eggs were no longer stable, and some had broken during the hatching process. The net was replaced, no broken eggs, and hatching was normal again.

⚠️ When to replace it: If the mesh is rusty, warped, or has broken links, the eggs will no longer sit securely and may be damaged during turning. It's best to replace it immediately.
