A customer from Udine called me: "The motor turns but the rack no longer moves, the eggs aren't turning." Upon checking over the phone, the plastic cam had cracked, and the motor was spinning without moving. After replacing the F117M cam, the turning function was back to normal.

When is it needed? If the motor turns but the grid doesn't rotate , or the turning is irregular, with jerks or jams. Even if you hear the motor working but see that the eggs don't move. The plastic cam is a component subject to mechanical wear and can break or wear out after years of continuous cycles.
