COSMO internal plugs are small plastic inserts that seal the fixing holes and openings in the bottom shell. They prevent heat and humidity loss, maintaining a stable incubation environment.

Quick diagnosis: missing, broken, or loose caps, open holes in the body, cold air drafts from below.

Solution: Original FIEM internal caps for the lower body of COSMO, COSMO EVO and COSMO ML incubators.

Humidity Channel for CIP 40 – The tray designed to ensure proper humidity. With two separate compartments, it allows for precise humidity adjustment during incubation and hatching by simply filling one or both compartments. A float, sold separately, can be inserted into one compartment and connected to the tank of the Fiem semi-automatic humidification system.

When is it needed? If the gutter is cracked, leaking, warped , or no longer fits properly, it should be replaced. A damaged gutter won't maintain the correct water level, compromising humidity and therefore hatching.
