ALWAYS UNPLUG THE POWER! Remove the protective mesh (2). Unscrew the old fan, noting the connections. Install the new one with the same wiring. Check that it turns freely by hand. Reassemble the protective mesh. Test: it should start immediately, run silently and steadily.
