Replace the thermostat when: display is off or unreadable, temperature is unstable or out of range, does not maintain setpoints, relay is always active or never active, after checking that the keypad membrane is ok, for upgrade from analog to digital.
If problems occur: check for 230V power, check the fuse (if present), try replacing the keypad membrane (€2.80), and check that the temperature probe is connected. If the problem persists, replace the thermostat.

It may seem incredible, but this tiny ABS clip, worth just €0.53 (excluding VAT), is essential for holding the thermometer in the correct position. The 17A clip is FIEM's specific support for the 05/A thermometer.
💡 If the thermometer doesn't stay in place or moves while turning the eggs, the readings become unreliable. A damaged clip can compromise temperature monitoring, which is crucial for hatching.
⚠️ As specified in the FIEM manual, the thermometer should be inserted into the clip from the bottom up, rotating slightly—never attach it from the front to avoid breakage. This correct procedure protects both the thermometer and the clip itself.

🥚 The 32/A egg turning grid is not a simple divider: it is the system that gently rolls the eggs, replicating the natural movement of the hen!
At €9.98 (excluding VAT) , this grid (part no. 8 in the exploded view) neatly divides the rows of eggs and, connected to the tensioning system, rolls them with precision. Just like a mother hen turns each egg with her beak several times a day, this grid, moving back and forth for 30 minutes, gently rolls each egg, preventing the embryo from sticking to the shell.
🔄 Movement is vital: without regular rotation, the embryo adheres to the internal membrane and dies. As specified in the FIEM manual, the gearmotor moves the grid in hourly cycles (30 minutes forward, 30 minutes backward), causing the eggs to roll on their axis. It's this constant action that increases hatching rates from 20% without voltage to 80-90% with the correct voltage!
