🛡️ Two vital functions in one piece: protecting the electrical terminals and holding the thermometer. The terminal cover is not just a cover, but an essential multifunctional component!

At just €1.90 (excluding VAT) , this component of the Smart model plays a fundamental role in two ways. As you can see in the exploded view (component no. 3), the MORS. cover protects the electrical terminals from humidity and accidental contact, but also serves as a support base for the 17A clip where the 05/A thermometer is inserted.

⚡ This dual function makes it critical: without it, you not only risk short circuits due to the exposed terminals, but you also lose the anchoring point for the temperature reading system. The incubator's constant humidity can seep into the exposed electrical connections, causing malfunctions or worse.

🔧 When should you replace it? If it's cracked or broken, if it's no longer securely attached, if the thermometer clip is no longer securely attached, or if you see signs of overheating on the plastic. A damaged casing compromises both electrical safety and the accuracy of temperature readings.

⚠️ Installation requires care: always unplug the unit before working on electrical parts! The cover is placed over the terminals and snapped on, making sure the thermometer clip seat is properly aligned.

✅ Compatible only with the Smart model (not for use with CipCip, which has a different structure). Given its critical dual function and low price, it's wise to keep a spare in the drawer.

The casing should be replaced when: it has visible cracks or breaks, it no longer attaches properly to the structure, the electrical terminals are exposed, the thermometer clip no longer has a stable support, you notice signs of overheating or deformation of the plastic, it is completely missing after maintenance.

WARNING: Always unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before proceeding! There is 230V at the terminals. Remove the old cover if damaged. Place the new cover over the electrical terminals, ensuring alignment. Press until it clicks into place. Check that: the terminals are completely covered, the cover is secure, and the thermometer clip seat is accessible and aligned.
