The internal plugs are small plastic inserts that cover the holes in the bottom casing of the COSMO incubator. These holes are used for fastening during production or to house components, but must remain closed during use.
Their function is simple but important: to prevent cold air from entering from below and warm air from escaping. The COSMO incubator is designed to maintain a hermetically controlled environment, where temperature and humidity must remain constant for 21 days. Every open hole is a potential leak.
The original FIEM caps are made of heat and humidity resistant plastic, with calibrated dimensions to fit perfectly into the holes of the COSMO body.

Without an intact and well-positioned support, the gearmotor vibrates, becomes misaligned, and the movement becomes irregular, compromising the delicate turning of the eggs.
⚙️ This mount holds the gear motor at the correct height and angle to transmit power to the egg turning grid. It's specifically designed to absorb vibrations from the motor during continuous operation, preventing premature wear and annoying noises.
