Humidity Tray 350 TOP for CIP CIP 28 – The tray designed to ensure the correct humidification in the CIP CIP 28. Compact and functional, it fits easily into the bottom of the incubator to maintain the optimal humidity level during incubation and hatching.

A customer from Bassano del Grappa wrote to me: "The quail eggs are drying out, the chicks can't hatch." Checking the photos, the trays were too small (not original). I replaced both with original FIEM 350 TOP trays, and the next hatching went perfectly.

When is it needed? If the tray is cracked, leaking, warped , or too hardened to be cleaned, it should be replaced. The CIP CIP 28 uses two trays : normally one for incubation and both for hatching.

💰 Price: €1.30 each (excluding VAT, excluding shipping) – FIEM WAREHOUSE COMO

⚠️ ATTENTION: This tray is specific for CIP CIP 28. The CIP CIP 40 model uses the 2-compartment channel.

Minimum order €20: Consider getting at least 2 trays + other spare parts (thermometer €22.05, heating element €12.18) to complete.

📦 Logistics: 1-day shipping, 2-4 day delivery. Warranty: 24 months for private individuals / 12 months for VAT numbers.

🔍 When do you need these trays?

The trays should be replaced when:

  • Cracked or broken trays: They leak water from the bottom, compromising humidity.
  • Deformed by heat: They no longer fit properly into the seat
  • Limescale deposits that are impossible to remove: Encrustations that reduce the capacity
  • Deteriorated plastic: After years they become porous and fragile
  • Non-original trays: Incorrect dimensions that do not guarantee the correct humidity

💧 How the 2-tray system works

The CIP CIP 28 has 2 separate trays to regulate humidity:

During incubation (first 18-25 days depending on the species):

  • Fill ONLY 1 tray (usually 1 is enough but it depends on the species, the quantity of eggs and the environment)
  • Target humidity: 38-52% (depending on species)
  • Leave the second tray empty

During hatching (last 2-3 days):

  • Fill BOTH trays
  • Target humidity: 62-70%
  • Higher humidity helps chicks break their shells

💡 Advice from 45 years of experience: Always check the pressure drop in the inner tube by candling it to determine if the humidity is correct. If the pressure drop is too high, increase the humidity. If it's too low, decrease the humidity.

📸 Having doubts? Send us a photo of the trays on WhatsApp and describe the problem.

What water to use?

  • Tap water: It's fine if it's not too hard.
  • Distilled/demineralized water: Ideal for avoiding limescale deposits
  • Water temperature: Warm (20-25°C) to avoid lowering the temperature in the room too much

🧼 Cleaning and maintenance

After each incubation cycle:

  1. Empty the trays completely
  2. Wash with hot water and neutral detergent
  3. For limescale deposits: soak in water and vinegar (50/50) for 2-3 hours
  4. Soft brush to remove encrustations
  5. Rinse thoroughly
  6. Dry completely before storing.
  7. Optional: Disinfect with alcohol or Glutarsan

⚠️ Do not use:

  • Wire brushes (scratch)
  • Harsh chemicals
  • Pure bleach

❌ Common mistakes to avoid

  • Don't overfill: The water should reach 5-7mm from the edge
  • Don't forget to top up: Check the level every 2-3 days
  • Do not use non-original trays: Wrong size = wrong humidity
  • Don't open too often: Every opening causes humidity and temperature to be lost.

Cable Gland for Power Cable Fiem Smart and Cosmo

€0.77
Availability: 1000 In Stock

🔒 The P67 cable gland is not just a gasket: it is the guardian that protects electrical cables from wear and tear and prevents water infiltration at critical points!

At just €0.63 (excluding VAT) , this small component plays a vital safety role. The P67 cable gland (GLAND for POWER CABLE in the price list) blocks and protects the power cable where it enters the incubator, preventing dangerous kinks, accidental tears, and moisture infiltration that could cause short circuits.

⚡ As every electrician knows, the most vulnerable point of any cable is where it passes through a wall or panel. Without a strain relief, the cable rubs against sharp edges, the insulation deteriorates, and moisture penetrates. With the P67, the cable is securely clamped and protected from mechanical stress.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If the cable gland is cracked or broken, if it no longer grips the cable and allows it to move freely, if the rubber is hardened and no longer seals, or if it's missing completely after maintenance.

💡 A missing or damaged cable gland poses serious risks: the cable can tear, moisture can enter the circuitry, and short circuits can occur. For €0.63, it's not worth the risk!

Compatible with Smart and Cosmo , standard for power cable passage.

📱 Not sure about the condition of your cable gland? Send us a WhatsApp photo of the cable entry point.

Temperature Probe for Old Fiem LCD Control Unit

€16.72
Availability: 1000 In Stock
LCD Thermostat Temperature Sensor (old) – The sensor that detects the incubator's internal temperature and allows the LCD thermostat to regulate the heating. This critical component constantly transmits temperature data to the thermostat to maintain the incubator at 37.5-37.7°C.

When is it needed? If the LCD control unit displays an incorrect or fixed temperature , or the internal temperature fluctuates too much . Even if you see "Err" or "---" on the display, or if the heating element remains always on or always off, ignoring the actual temperature.

Symptoms of a faulty probe: Displayed temperature stuck on one value, impossible readings, resistor that never turns on or off, sudden temperature fluctuations.

💰 Price: €13.70 each (excluding VAT, excluding transport) – FIEM WAREHOUSE COMO – Only original FIEM components from Padovan Avicoltura for guaranteed efficiency over time.

⚠️ OLD Version: This probe is for older models with LCD control units. Newer models with MiniLED Advanced or other modern control units use different probes (T/H PROBE).

Compatibility: MG Series (older LCD models) and CIP CIP (older LCD models). Please check that your incubator has the old LCD control unit before ordering.

Minimum order €20: Consider ordering at least 14 probes (€20.58) as a backup for future replacements, or supplement with other spares (fuse, thermometer, trays).

📦 Logistics: Dispatch within 1 business day, delivery within 2-4 days. Warranty: 24 months for private individuals / 12 months for VAT number. FIEM since 1975.

Fiem Anti-Condensation Humidity Probe...

€3.54
Availability: 999 In Stock

💧 The humidity sensor cover is essential protection that keeps the humidity sensor safe from the harsh incubator environment! (dust, washing, etc.)

The CUST.S.UMID protects the delicate humidity probe from the extreme conditions inside the incubator: constant high humidity, heat, and possible splashes of water when filling the trays. Without this protective case, the probe rapidly deteriorates, compromising the vital 47-62% humidity readings required for the various phases.

🛡️ This case allows the sensor to properly detect humidity while protecting it from physical damage and excessive condensation. It is designed with calibrated openings that allow humid air to pass through for measurement, but prevent direct water from entering.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If it has cracks or breaks, if it no longer protects the probe adequately, if it is deformed by heat, if the openings are blocked by deposits, or if it is missing after humidity probe maintenance.

💡 A damaged case exposes your expensive humidity probe to premature failure. It's better to invest in a new case than to have to replace the entire probe!

Compatible with FIEM humidity probes .

2.06m - 95W Silicone Heating Cable for Fiem Cip...

€14.86
Availability: 196 In Stock
R75E Silicone Heating Element for CIP CIP 28 / CIP CIP 40 – The thermal heart of your incubator. This 2.06 meter silicone heating cable ensures even heat distribution throughout the incubation chamber, maintaining a stable temperature essential for embryonic development.

A customer from Padua called me on the 10th day of incubation: the temperature was constantly fluctuating between 36°C and 36.2°C. After checking, the heating element had lost electrical continuity in one spot. I urgently replaced it with the original FIEM R75E, the temperature stabilized immediately, and the eggs hatched successfully.

When is it needed? If your incubator never reaches the set temperature , or takes too long to heat up, or if the thermostat is always on but the heat doesn't increase, the heating element is probably faulty. Abnormal temperature fluctuations can also indicate a damaged heating element.

⚠️ Before ordering: Unplug the power cord, disconnect the resistor, and measure the electrical resistance with a tester : it should read approximately 505 Ohms (2.06 m × 245 Ohms/m). If it reads "infinity" or significantly different values, the resistor is broken. Also check that there are no cuts, burns, or blackened spots on the wire.

📸 Don't have a tester? Send us a photo of the installed resistor on WhatsApp and describe the incubator's behavior: we'll help you diagnose it before purchasing.

Installation: Electrical work that requires care. Always unplug the appliance and, if you are unfamiliar with electrical connections, consult a qualified technician.

💰 Price: €12.18 (VAT excluded, shipping excluded) – FIEM WAREHOUSE COMO

Compatibility: Both the CIP CIP 28 and CIP CIP 40 models use the same R75E resistor.

Minimum order €20: Add other useful spare parts (fuse, fixing collars, thermometer) to complete the order.

📦 Logistics: Ships in 1 business day, delivery 2-4 days. Warranty: 24 months for private individuals / 12 months for VAT numbers.

1 m. Fiem wet bulb humidity reading wick...

€2.44
Availability: 981 In Stock
Wet Bulb Hygrometer Wick (1 meter) – Special replacement muslin wick for wet bulb hygrometers. Cotton material that wraps around the thermometer bulb and allows for precise measurement of relative humidity through evaporation. This consumable item requires frequent replacement to maintain accurate readings.

A customer wrote to me: "The wet-bulb hygrometer always read 100% even when the incubator was dry. I replaced the sock, which was encrusted with limescale and dirt, and now it works perfectly again. My mistake: I was using tap water instead of distilled water."

⚠️ CAUTION - CRITICAL MAINTENANCE: The muslin sock is the most important component for the proper functioning of the wet bulb hygrometer. It MUST be replaced frequently and ALWAYS kept moist with distilled water. A dirty, dry, or mineral-encrusted sock will cause completely incorrect readings.

When to replace: With each new batch of eggs, when the sock appears dirty/yellowish, if there are white scale deposits, when the readings are unstable or stuck at 100%, or if the sock no longer absorbs water well. ALWAYS use distilled or demineralized water to avoid mineral deposits.

What's included: 1 meter of cotton muslin wick, enough for several refills. Cut to the length needed to completely wrap the thermometer bulb.

Basic rules: The sock must always be kept moist, use only distilled water, tighten it well around the bulb, make sure it sits properly in the water tank.

💰 Price: €2.00/meter (VAT excluded, shipping excluded) – FIEM COMO WAREHOUSE – Padovan Avicoltura: original spare parts for precision instruments.

Compatibility: FIEM HNB wet bulb hygrometer and Fiem thermohygrometer

📦 Logistics: Dispatch within 1 business day, delivery within 2-4 days. Warranty: Consumable product.
