It's more than just decorative plastic: it keeps the switches and display protected from the constant humidity of the incubation environment.

⚡ This seemingly simple component performs critical functions: it protects electrical components from moisture and dust, maintains access to controls, prevents accidental contact with electrical parts, and ensures the professional appearance of your incubator.

🔧 When should you replace it? If it's cracked or broken, if it no longer attaches properly to the frame, if the plastic is discolored or warped from heat, if the switch or display holes are damaged, or after maintenance that has compromised it.

💡 The faceplate covers the area where the thermostat, switches, and electrical connections are located. Inadequate protection in this area can cause malfunctions due to moisture penetrating the circuitry.

🛡️ Two vital functions in one piece: protecting the electrical terminals and holding the thermometer. The terminal cover is not just a cover, but an essential multifunctional component!

At just €1.90 (excluding VAT) , this component of the Smart model plays a fundamental role in two ways. As you can see in the exploded view (component no. 3), the MORS. cover protects the electrical terminals from humidity and accidental contact, but also serves as a support base for the 17A clip where the 05/A thermometer is inserted.

⚡ This dual function makes it critical: without it, you not only risk short circuits due to the exposed terminals, but you also lose the anchoring point for the temperature reading system. The incubator's constant humidity can seep into the exposed electrical connections, causing malfunctions or worse.

🔧 When should you replace it? If it's cracked or broken, if it's no longer securely attached, if the thermometer clip is no longer securely attached, or if you see signs of overheating on the plastic. A damaged casing compromises both electrical safety and the accuracy of temperature readings.

⚠️ Installation requires care: always unplug the unit before working on electrical parts! The cover is placed over the terminals and snapped on, making sure the thermometer clip seat is properly aligned.
