The COSMO upper body houses the control panel, fan motor, heating element, and heating cable. It is the supporting structure of the entire control and heating system.

Quick diagnosis: visible cracks on the body, breaks at the fixing points, heat deformations, damaged housings for the control unit or fan.

Solution: Original FIEM ABS Upper Body for COSMO, COSMO EVO and COSMO ML incubators.

📌 Real case: A customer in Vicenza had a cracked top cover near the fan after a fall. The temperature wouldn't stay stable because hot air was escaping from the crack. After replacing the cover, the incubator worked perfectly again.

⚠️ When to replace it: If the shell is cracked or warped, you lose thermal insulation and the incubator will struggle to maintain its temperature. Every crack is a source of heat loss.
