Hinges are the small hinges that allow the transparent door to open and close properly. They seem insignificant, but if they break or become loose, the door won't close properly, and you lose heat and humidity.
Quick diagnosis: door that doesn't close properly, excessive play, broken or bent hinge, door that "falls" to one side.
Solution: Original FIEM door hinge for COSMO, COSMO EVO, and COSMO ML incubators. Price each.
📌 Real case: A customer in Bari with COSMO ML had a door that wouldn't close properly. He thought the door needed replacing, but it was just a broken hinge. Replaced in 5 minutes for less than 2 euros, problem solved.
⚠️ When to replace it: If the door no longer closes properly or you notice excessive play, check the hinges immediately. Improper closure causes heat and humidity to escape, compromising hatching.
