Replace the case when: cracks compromise protection, heat deformations, openings blocked by limescale/deposits, it no longer fits properly, after aggressive cleaning, together with probe replacement.
If humidity is a concern: check the case is intact, clean any obstructed openings, and check that the probe is properly inserted. If the case is damaged, replace it before damaging the probe.

Carefully remove the old case. Do not touch the humidity sensor directly. Insert the probe into the new case. Make sure it is well protected but with openings clear. Place it in the incubator according to the manual.
