The COSMO base mesh is the perforated surface on which the eggs rest. It allows warm air and humidity to rise from the trays below, ensuring even distribution throughout the incubation chamber.

Quick diagnosis: rusty netting, broken or loosened meshes, bent or deformed netting, eggs that do not sit securely.

⚠️ When to replace it: If the mesh is rusty, warped, or has broken links, the eggs will no longer sit securely and may be damaged during turning. It's best to replace it immediately.

R75E Silicone Heating Element for CIP CIP 28 / CIP CIP 40 – The thermal heart of your incubator. This 2.06 meter silicone heating cable ensures even heat distribution throughout the incubation chamber, maintaining a stable temperature essential for embryonic development.

A customer from Padua called me on the 10th day of incubation: the temperature was constantly fluctuating between 36°C and 36.2°C. After checking, the heating element had lost electrical continuity in one spot. I urgently replaced it with the original FIEM R75E, the temperature stabilized immediately, and the eggs hatched successfully.

When is it needed? If your incubator never reaches the set temperature , or takes too long to heat up, or if the thermostat is always on but the heat doesn't increase, the heating element is probably faulty. Abnormal temperature fluctuations can also indicate a damaged heating element.

⚠️ Before ordering: Unplug the power cord, disconnect the resistor, and measure the electrical resistance with a tester : it should read approximately 505 Ohms (2.06 m × 245 Ohms/m). If it reads "infinity" or significantly different values, the resistor is broken. Also check that there are no cuts, burns, or blackened spots on the wire.

The P67 cable gland (GLAND for POWER CABLE in the price list) blocks and protects the power cable where it enters the incubator, preventing dangerous kinks, accidental tears, and moisture infiltration that could cause short circuits.

⚡ As every electrician knows, the most vulnerable point of any cable is where it passes through a wall or panel. Without a strain relief, the cable rubs against sharp edges, the insulation deteriorates, and moisture penetrates. With the P67, the cable is securely clamped and protected from mechanical stress.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If the cable gland is cracked or broken, if it no longer grips the cable and allows it to move freely, if the rubber is hardened and no longer seals, or if it's missing completely after maintenance.
