When is it needed? If the LCD control unit displays an incorrect or fixed temperature , or the internal temperature fluctuates too much . Even if you see "Err" or "---" on the display, or if the heating element remains always on or always off, ignoring the actual temperature.

Symptoms of a faulty probe: Displayed temperature stuck on one value, impossible readings, resistor that never turns on or off, sudden temperature fluctuations.

⚠️ OLD Version: This probe is for older models with LCD control units. Newer models with MiniLED Advanced or other modern control units use different probes (T/H PROBE).

Compatibility: MG Series (older LCD models) and CIP CIP (older LCD models). Please check that your incubator has the old LCD control unit before ordering.

Minimum order €20: Consider ordering at least 14 probes (€20.58) as a backup for future replacements, or supplement with other spares (fuse, thermometer, trays).

A customer from Rovigo called me: "The Limpia humidifier is constantly turning on and off, the humidity fluctuates, and the pheasant eggs are drying out." The IEC socket on the panel had oxidized contacts and was making poor contact. Simply moving the cable would shut off the humidifier. I replaced the socket, and it's been working perfectly for 18 months.

When is it needed? If the humidifier doesn't turn on even when plugged in , it turns on and off intermittently, or you see sparks when you plug it in. If the socket has burnt plastic or oxidized contacts, it should be replaced immediately to avoid a fire risk.

What is an IEC socket? It's an international standard (type C14 female)—the same connector found on PCs, monitors, and professional appliances. It guarantees safe connections up to 250V and 10A.

⚠️ Before ordering: Unplug everything, visually inspect the socket (are the contacts shiny or oxidized/black?), test the IEC cable on another device to rule out the cable as the problem.
