🎯 As specified in the FIEM manual, pressing the SET buttons accesses the reference values, and using the up/down arrow keys changes the temperature and humidity. Without a functioning membrane, you cannot control the digital incubator!
⚠️ When should you replace it? If the keys no longer respond to pressure, if the surface is worn and the symbols are no longer legible, if it has cuts or tears, if the adhesive has peeled off the panel, or if liquids have penetrated the contacts.

Replace the membrane when: the keys do not respond even when pressed hard, some keys work, others do not, the surface is worn or illegible, there are cuts/tears/holes, the adhesive is peeling off, liquid seepage under the membrane, after years of intensive use to restore sensitivity.
If the keys aren't responding: gently clean with a damp (not wet!) cloth, press firmly in the center of the key, and check that the display is on. If the problem persists, the membrane needs to be replaced.

Always unplug the power cord! Carefully remove the old membrane. Clean the surface thoroughly with alcohol. Remove the adhesive backing from the new membrane. Apply starting from one side, avoiding air bubbles. Press firmly over the entire surface. Reconnect and test all the keys.

Semi-automatic humidifier with internal tray with float, external 5-liter rectangular tank (the round one is no longer included) + tube + lid. The new system uses a tray with a constant-level water flow regulated by a float and equipped with an external 5-liter tank. (See attached photos).
A breeder in Treviso contacted me about a strange noise from his CIP 28 incubator: "It sounds like something is scratching the fan blades." Upon opening the incubator, we found the protective mesh was deformed and touching the fan with each rotation. After replacing the mesh, the problem went away, and incubation continued without a hitch.
When is it needed? If you notice rubbing noises, the mesh probably needs replacing. Even after aggressive cleaning with corrosive products , or if the mesh appears visibly rusted, deformed, or has loosened meshes, it's time to replace it.

A customer in Rovigo was having strange problems: the drain was constantly shifting, water was pouring out of one side, and the humidity was unstable. Upon inspection, the metal support had warped and was no longer holding the tray in place. The support was replaced, and the problem was solved in 5 minutes.
When is it needed? If the channel moves, wobbles, or doesn't stay in place , the metal support is probably warped, bent, or missing. Even when replacing the channel itself, always check the condition of the support.
