When is it needed? If the tray is cracked, leaking, warped , or too hardened to be cleaned, it should be replaced. The CIP CIP 28 uses two trays : normally one for incubation and both for hatching.

🔌 The caps that close the internal holes and maintain insulation.
COSMO internal plugs are small plastic inserts that seal the fixing holes and openings in the bottom shell. They prevent heat and humidity loss, maintaining a stable incubation environment.
Quick diagnosis: missing, broken, or loose caps, open holes in the body, cold air drafts from below.
Solution: Original FIEM internal caps for the lower body of COSMO, COSMO EVO and COSMO ML incubators.

🥚 The 32/A egg turning grid is not a simple divider: it is the system that gently rolls the eggs, replicating the natural movement of the hen!
At €9.98 (excluding VAT) , this grid (part no. 8 in the exploded view) neatly divides the rows of eggs and, connected to the tensioning system, rolls them with precision. Just like a mother hen turns each egg with her beak several times a day, this grid, moving back and forth for 30 minutes, gently rolls each egg, preventing the embryo from sticking to the shell.
🔄 Movement is vital: without regular rotation, the embryo adheres to the internal membrane and dies. As specified in the FIEM manual, the gearmotor moves the grid in hourly cycles (30 minutes forward, 30 minutes backward), causing the eggs to roll on their axis. It's this constant action that increases hatching rates from 20% without voltage to 80-90% with the correct voltage!
⚠️ When should you replace it? If the dividers are bent and the eggs don't roll evenly, if it no longer engages the gearmotor pin, if it has breaks that block some eggs, or if wear and tear after many cycles compromises the smooth movement.
💡 The dividers are not random: they keep the eggs at the right distance to roll without bumping into each other, organize the space for maximum capacity, and ensure that each egg receives the necessary movement.
