📌 Real case: A customer from Rovigo noticed unstable temperatures in his COSMO EVO. After checking the control unit and heating element, he discovered that two caps on the bottom were missing. He replaced them and the problem was immediately solved.

Humidity Tray 350 TOP for CIP CIP 28 – The tray designed to ensure the correct humidification in the CIP CIP 28. Compact and functional, it fits easily into the bottom of the incubator to maintain the optimal humidity level during incubation and hatching.

A customer from Bassano del Grappa wrote to me: "The quail eggs are drying out, the chicks can't hatch." Checking the photos, the trays were too small (not original). I replaced both with original FIEM 350 TOP trays, and the next hatching went perfectly.

When is it needed? If the tray is cracked, leaking, warped , or too hardened to be cleaned, it should be replaced. The CIP CIP 28 uses two trays : normally one for incubation and both for hatching.

🔧 Do you know what the most underrated part of the incubator is? The little clip that holds the thermometer in place!

It may seem incredible, but this tiny ABS clip, worth just €0.53 (excluding VAT), is essential for holding the thermometer in the correct position. The 17A clip is FIEM's specific support for the 05/A thermometer.

💡 If the thermometer doesn't stay in place or moves while turning the eggs, the readings become unreliable. A damaged clip can compromise temperature monitoring, which is crucial for hatching.

⚠️ As specified in the FIEM manual, the thermometer should be inserted into the clip from the bottom up, rotating slightly—never attach it from the front to avoid breakage. This correct procedure protects both the thermometer and the clip itself.

📍 When should you replace it? If the thermometer won't stay in place, if it moves or falls, if you see cracks in the plastic, or if you need to use alternative means to hold it in place. Given the minimal cost, it's a good idea to have a spare.

✅ Compatible with all Smart, CipCip 28 and CipCip 40 models. In the 2025 price list it is indicated as "ABS THERMOMETER HOLDER" and costs only €0.53.

🛒 Important: This item requires a minimum order of €20 (excluding VAT). You can add the 05/A thermometer for €22.05, which already exceeds the threshold, or other small spare parts such as the P67 cable gland (€0.63) or the MEMB.TAST.DIG keyboard membrane (€2.80).
