🛡️ The gearmotor cover isn't just an aesthetic protection: it's the shield that protects the heart of the egg turning system from dust, humidity, and accidental tampering!

At just €5.36 (excluding VAT) , the 130-B cover protects the Smart's egg turning gear motor from external elements that could compromise its operation. It's more than just decorative plastic: it keeps the motor compartment isolated from the incubator's constant humidity, prevents dust from accumulating on the gears, and protects against accidental contact during operation.

🔒 As specified in the FIEM manual, the gearmotor is housed in an insulated compartment protected by this very cover. Without it, humidity from incubation penetrates the mechanism, dust accumulates, and the motor wears prematurely.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If it's cracked or broken, if it no longer seals the compartment tightly, if the plastic is warped and leaves cracks, if the attachment points are broken, or if it's missing after maintenance on the gearmotor.

💡 A missing or damaged cover exposes the expensive gearmotor (€44) to premature wear. For €5.36, you're protecting a much greater investment!

Semi-Automatic Humidity System Connection Tube – The vital link between the external tank and the incubator. This food-grade PVC tube transports water from the tank to the trays, ensuring constant humidity without manual intervention.

A customer had installed the automatic kit with a hose from the hardware store: after a short time, it hardened, lost its grip, and water began to drip. Replaced with the original FIEM hose, no problems in 3 years of intensive use.

When do you need it? To install the semi-automatic humidity kit or to replace an old, hardened, or leaky hose . Even if you want to extend the connection to position the tank further away.
