The metal insert is the guide that rolls each egg during automatic turning, mimicking the natural rotation of a hen. Its function is to keep the egg in a stable, upright position during the egg turning movements and ensure that the turning occurs without bumps or oscillations that could damage the embryo. The galvanized metal withstands constant humidity without rusting.

This spare part is available in two specific sizes for CIP CIP 28 and CIP CIP 40. MG50 COSMO. They are NOT interchangeable.
