Its perforated structure is not random: it allows warm air to circulate evenly from bottom to top and the humidity from the four sectors below to evaporate, reaching the eggs, creating the perfect microclimate essential for embryonic development.

💨 As the FIEM manual specifies, air circulation is as crucial as temperature. Hot air rises through the mesh, enveloping each egg evenly, while the moisture evaporating from the trays at the base passes through the grill, maintaining the proper 47-62% ratio needed for the various stages.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If the mesh is broken or warped, compromising the egg holder, if the plastic is bent, creating unevenness, if it's clogged with debris blocking airflow, or after several cycles, when thorough cleaning is required.

Remove the old netting by lifting it up. Clean the compartment and the edges thoroughly. Position the new netting, ensuring it is perfectly horizontal. Make sure it rests securely around the entire perimeter. The eggs should be placed directly on the netting.

Humidity Tray 350 TOP for CIP CIP 28 – The tray designed to ensure the correct humidification in the CIP CIP 28. Compact and functional, it fits easily into the bottom of the incubator to maintain the optimal humidity level during incubation and hatching.

A customer from Bassano del Grappa wrote to me: "The quail eggs are drying out, the chicks can't hatch." Checking the photos, the trays were too small (not original). I replaced both with original FIEM 350 TOP trays, and the next hatching went perfectly.

When is it needed? If the tray is cracked, leaking, warped , or too hardened to be cleaned, it should be replaced. The CIP CIP 28 uses two trays : normally one for incubation and both for hatching.

As you can see in the exploded view (component no. 3), the MORS. cover protects the electrical terminals from humidity and accidental contact, but also serves as a support base for the 17A clip where the 05/A thermometer is inserted.

⚡ This dual function makes it critical: without it, you not only risk short circuits due to the exposed terminals, but you also lose the anchoring point for the temperature reading system. The incubator's constant humidity can seep into the exposed electrical connections, causing malfunctions or worse.

🔧 When should you replace it? If it's cracked or broken, if it's no longer securely attached, if the thermometer clip is no longer securely attached, or if you see signs of overheating on the plastic. A damaged casing compromises both electrical safety and the accuracy of temperature readings.

⚠️ Installation requires care: always unplug the unit before working on electrical parts! The cover is placed over the terminals and snapped on, making sure the thermometer clip seat is properly aligned.
