When it has cracks, damaged screw seats or deformations, the control unit is exposed to dust and impacts that compromise incubation.

Quick diagnosis: enlarged screw holes, yellowed plastic, loose cover, or heat deformation. Mechanical protection is often overlooked, but even dust or a single impact can damage expensive electronics.

Solution: Original FIEM gray ABS cover for MiniLED, MiniLED Advanced, and EVO Plus. Fixing with 4 screws. Lifespan: 8–10 years in normal use.

📌 Real case: Breeder from Padua with an MG100, cover with two broken screw holes. Dust was getting into the circuits. Replaced in 5 minutes, problem solved.

⚠️ When to replace it: at the first signs of damage. Waiting risks leaks that damage the control unit (costing 10 times more).
