💧 The humidity sensor cover is essential protection that keeps the humidity sensor safe from the harsh incubator environment! (dust, washing, etc.)

The CUST.S.UMID protects the delicate humidity probe from the extreme conditions inside the incubator: constant high humidity, heat, and possible splashes of water when filling the trays. Without this protective case, the probe rapidly deteriorates, compromising the vital 47-62% humidity readings required for the various phases.

🛡️ This case allows the sensor to properly detect humidity while protecting it from physical damage and excessive condensation. It is designed with calibrated openings that allow humid air to pass through for measurement, but prevent direct water from entering.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If it has cracks or breaks, if it no longer protects the probe adequately, if it is deformed by heat, if the openings are blocked by deposits, or if it is missing after humidity probe maintenance.

💡 A damaged case exposes your expensive humidity probe to premature failure. It's better to invest in a new case than to have to replace the entire probe!

🌡️ The digital thermostat is not a simple regulator: it is the electronic brain that maintains temperature and humidity with surgical precision, determining the life or death of your embryos!

At €57.00 (excluding VAT) , the DIG.SMART (part no. 7 in the exploded view) is the intelligent heart of your incubator. With a 3-digit digital display, it controls both temperature and humidity (T/H) with precision to the nearest tenth of a degree. It's not comparable to old analog thermostats: this is precise digital control that maintains a vital 37.7°C without lethal fluctuations.

🎯 As specified in the FIEM manual, pressing SET accesses the reference values, and using the up/down arrows adjusts the temperature (100°F) and humidity (47-62%). The display alternates between current temperature, humidity, and setpoint. This digital precision is the difference between hobbyists and professionals!

⚠️ When should you replace it? If the display doesn't light up or flashes, if the temperature fluctuates excessively, if it doesn't maintain setpoints, if the buttons don't respond (try the MEMB.TAST.DIG membrane first), or after years of technological upgrades.

💡 An inaccurate thermostat causes fatal temperature changes: at 36°C, embryos slow down; at 39°C, they die. Digital thermostats maintain accuracy of ±0.1°C!

CIP 28 and 40 Metal Fan Motor Brackets – Small but essential. These brackets keep the fan perfectly aligned, ensuring uniform air circulation in the incubation chamber. Without them, abnormal vibrations and noises can compromise thermal stability and therefore hatching success.

A customer from Vicenza called me worried: he could hear a metallic rattling noise from his CIP CIP 40 incubator on the 12th day of incubating pheasant eggs. After checking, we discovered that one of the fan's metal supports had come loose. Once fixed, the machine went silent again, and the hatching was successful.

When are they needed? If you hear abnormal vibrations, metallic noises, or rattling coming from the fan compartment, or if you notice that the fan isn't perfectly centered, the bearings probably need replacing. Even during preventative maintenance , when you replace the fan motor, it's good practice to check the condition of the bearings.

⚠️ Before ordering: Unplug the fan, open the control panel, and visually inspect the brackets for damage, rust, or missing parts. Sometimes, a thorough cleaning of the fan is enough to eliminate the noise.
