RL 34 Single-Pole Switch for FIEM Control Units – The on/off switch for control units. This switch allows you to manually turn the control unit on and off, ensuring direct control over the system's power supply.
A customer from Verona called me: "The control unit no longer turns on, the LED remains off." Upon checking, the switch had become stuck in the middle position and was no longer making contact. I replaced the RL 34 switch within 10 minutes, and the control unit was fully functional again.
When is it needed? If the switch is stuck, no longer makes contact, produces sparks , or you have to press it several times before it works, it should be replaced. Even if it's visibly damaged, broken, or burned.

The gear motor cover is the plastic shield that covers the egg turning motor. It keeps out dust, feathers, and dirt, preventing the motor from seizing up or overheating.
Quick diagnosis: lid broken, cracked, missing, or no longer latching properly.
Solution: Original FIEM Gearmotor Cover for COSMO, COSMO EVO and COSMO ML incubators.
📌 Real case: A customer in Chierti with a COSMO EVO had a broken cover for months. The motor started making strange noises because it was full of dust and feathers. After replacing the cover and cleaning the motor, everything went back to silence.
⚠️ When to replace it: If the cover is broken or missing, the gearmotor is exposed to dust and debris that can jam it or reduce its lifespan. It's best to replace it immediately.
