At €9.45 (excluding VAT) , the PROT.SMART is the protective metal mesh that covers the fan of your Smart incubator. It's not an optional accessory: it prevents objects, feathers, or worse, curious fingers from coming into contact with the rotating blades, and at the same time prevents debris from obstructing the fan and compromising ventilation.

🔧 This protective grille maintains optimal airflow while filtering out large particles that could damage the engine. The mesh is sized for maximum protection without impeding vital air circulation for embryos.

⚠️ When should you replace it? If the mesh is broken or bent, leaving dangerous gaps, if the mesh is warped and no longer fits properly, if it's rusted or corroded, or if it's missing after maintenance.

💡 Using the incubator without the protective grille is dangerous and can cause damage to the fan if objects enter the blades.

Replace the grille when: the mesh is broken or widened, it is deformed and prevents proper attachment, it is rusted or corroded, it is missing after cleaning the fan, it no longer completely covers the fan area.

CAUTION: Always disconnect the power supply! Remove the old grille, if present. Clean the mounting area. Install the new grille, ensuring complete fan coverage. Secure with screws or clips, depending on the model.
