🏠 The foundation on which the entire incubator rests.
The COSMO base is the lower ABS shell that contains the humidity trays, supports the support mesh, and holds up the entire structure. If it cracks or breaks, you lose its watertightness, moisture retention, and stability.

Quick diagnosis: visible cracks, water leaks from the trays, body deformed by heat, breaks at the corners or attachment points.

Solution: Original FIEM COSMO primer in high-strength ABS. Compatible with COSMO, COSMO EVO, and COSMO ML.

📌 Real case: A customer in Vicenza with a COSMO incubator had a cracked bottom after 8 years of use. Water leaked from the trays, and the humidity never rose above 40%. After replacing the bottom, the incubator returned to working perfectly with stable humidity.

⚠️ When to replace it: If you notice cracks, warping, or water leaks, the bottom should be replaced. A damaged shell compromises airtightness and humidity, ruining entire broods.

It's not an optional accessory: it prevents objects, feathers, or worse, curious fingers from coming into contact with the rotating blades, and at the same time prevents debris from obstructing the fan and compromising ventilation.
