When the sensor is faulty, the control unit no longer detects humidity correctly, causing disastrous hatching due to dehydration or drowning of the embryos.

Quick diagnosis: Display showing incorrect values (stuck at 0% or 99%), humidity not responding to real changes, unstable readings that constantly jump. It's often thought to be the control unit, but the culprit is actually the sensor.

Solution: Original FIEM SHT31 humidity sensor complete with circuit board and protective case. Accuracy ±2%, fast response. Lifespan: 5–7 years in normal use.
