🔍 When are these collars needed?
The fixing collars must be replaced when:
- Replace the R75E resistor: It is good practice to also change the collars when replacing the resistor
- Broken or damaged collars: Brittle or broken plastic that no longer holds the cable
- Missing collars: The heating cable is no longer secured properly
- Preventive Maintenance: After many years of use, plastic can deteriorate

- They keep the cable in place: They prevent dangerous movements of the heating cable
- Prevent short circuits: Prevent the cable from touching metal parts
- Avoid overheating points: They distribute the cable correctly for uniform heating

Assembly (when replacing the resistor):
- Place the new R75E resistor following the original path
- Fix the cable with the collars in the same places where the old ones were mounted
- Do not overtighten: the cable should be firm but not crushed
- Make sure there are no sharp bends (minimum radius 2-3 cm)

- Don't skip the collars: "The cable stays still" is a dangerous mistake.
- Don't overtighten: You risk damaging the heating cable
- Don't place them randomly: Follow the original FIEM layout
