The T/H probe is a combined digital sensor that simultaneously measures temperature and relative humidity inside the incubation chamber. It is the component that "sees" environmental conditions and communicates them to the electronic control unit.
It uses a professional precision sensor with self-calibration, capable of detecting minimal variations: accuracy of ±0.1°C for temperature and ±1.5% for relative humidity. This data is processed by the EVO Plus or MiniLed Advanced control unit, which decides when to activate the heating element to heat or the humidifier to increase humidity.
Without a functioning probe, the control unit has no way of knowing what's happening inside the incubator. It's like driving a car with the dashboard off: you don't know how fast you're going or how much gas you have.

Replace the T/H probe if you notice:

The temperature could rise too high (killing the embryos) or fall too low (stopping development). Improper humidity levels cause embryos to fail to break their shells. The control unit is often thought to be the problem, but in 70% of cases, the probe is the culprit.

- Turn off and unplug the incubator
Unplug the machine from the electrical outlet. Let it cool if it was running. - Photograph the current connection
Before disconnecting the old sensor, take a picture of the connector on the control unit. This will help you reconnect the new one correctly. - Replace the probe
Disconnect the old probe's connector from the control unit (gently pull it out). Remove the probe from its housing. Place the new probe in the same spot and connect the connector. - Final test
Plug the incubator back in and turn it on. Verify that the display shows the correct temperature and humidity (not "ERR"). Compare it to the control thermometer to verify accuracy.
💡 Tip: After replacing the sensors, let the incubator stabilize for 30-60 minutes before checking the accuracy of the readings. New sensors require a short "break-in" period.

- ✓ Positioning: make sure the probe is not in direct contact with water or condensation drops.
- ✓ Cleaning: Gently wipe the probe with a dry cloth between cycles.
- ✓ Calibration: Periodically check that the readings match the control thermometer. If you notice any discrepancies, use the control unit's calibration function.
