1. UNIVERSAL EGG HOLDER: The world's first egg holder capable of vertically holding any type of egg, from goose to quail. Each individual holder can hold one chicken egg (or larger eggs) or up to four small eggs, for a total of 32 quail eggs. This innovative egg storage system allows for the largest possible number of eggs in a compact space, drastically reducing energy consumption.
NOTE: The vertical position of the eggs during incubation is the same as that used in the latest-generation industrial hatcheries. It always guarantees significantly higher hatching rates than eggs incubated horizontally.
2. EXTERNAL WATER FILLING WITH ANTIBACTERIAL "DUST STOP" CAPS: water is filled through two convenient openings on the outside of the incubator, avoiding the need to open the incubator and the resulting drastic loss of humidity, which is necessary for models with an internal tray. The external openings are closed with special "Dust Stop" caps, made of ABS polymer with BIOMASTER antibacterial silver ions, which prevent water contamination by germs and dust, keeping the environment around the eggs cleaner and more hygienic.
3. INSULATED VENTILATION: Internal ventilation is provided by an axial fan, which draws air from the center and then directs it to the side walls. This air movement, combined with a sophisticated aerodynamic design, not only ensures ideal temperature and humidity uniformity within the incubator, but also creates a warm air barrier that ensures effective thermal insulation.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
INCUBATOR STRUCTURE MADE OF HEAT-INSULATED ABS WITH BIOMASTER ANTIBACTERIAL: With the specific aim of reducing heat loss during the incubation and hatching phases, LUMIA 8 is made of a specific HEAT-INSULATED ABS polymer with strong mechanical resistance, giving the machine a solid and robust structure. A specific BIOMASTER silver ion antibacterial additive is added to the material, preventing harmful bacterial proliferation on the machine's surfaces during operation, which causes subsequent bacterial infections in the embryo, a major cause of mortality during hatching in chicks.
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CONTROL: The incubator uses sophisticated electronic temperature control to maintain a constant internal microclimate, accurate to within 0.1°C. The electronic system maintains the set temperature even as the ambient temperature outside the incubator varies, ensuring proper embryonic development without disruptions and higher hatching rates!
The system exploits the principle of feedback: the temperature value detected by the NTC sensor is digitally processed by an advanced Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) algorithm, which eliminates the oscillations characteristic of simpler adjustments, offering speed of response and good temperature stability, on a par with control solutions used on much more complex equipment.
EGGS ROTATION AS IT HAPPENS IN NATURE: for the entire duration of the incubation phase, a specific microprocessor rotates the incubated eggs completely automatically, continuously changing the times and degrees of inclination, varying them in an ever-changing manner, just as happens in nature inside the nest during brooding.
STATIC HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM: The humidity necessary for embryonic development is generated by the static effect. Special grooves are cut into the bottom of the incubator, designed with a geometry that generates the correct humidity level throughout the incubation phase.
MAXIMUM INTERNAL VISIBILITY: the incubator lid, also made of heat-insulating ABS, is completely transparent, ensuring complete and constant internal visibility, without ever having to open the incubator during the incubation and hatching process.
NON-STOP POWER SUPPLY: Powered by 12 V, the LUMIA 8 comes with an additional cable that plugs into a cigarette lighter socket. In the event of a power outage, the device can be plugged into any 12 V outlet, such as a car socket, allowing the incubation process to continue.
LOW ENERGY CONSUMPTION: The appliance's limited energy requirements are an effective response to the growing demand for energy saving and respect for the environment.
NOTE: The incubator comes complete with a 60W 12VDC power supply, and a power cord with car cigarette lighter socket.
